FAQs
No — you have the right to choose the repair shop you trust.
Insurance companies may recommend “preferred” shops, but the decision is always yours.
At Emich Collision Center, we work with all major insurance companies and handle the process directly on your behalf. Our focus is on completing repairs the right way — following OEM standards and ensuring your vehicle is restored safely and properly.
Do I have to use my insurance company’s preferred shop?

How do I get started?
2
Getting started is simple — just give our team a call. We’ll help you file your insurance claim, schedule an estimate, and walk you through the entire repair process from start to finish.
What makes you different?
We focus on doing the job right — not just getting it done. Our team follows OEM repair procedures, uses the right tools and materials, and prioritizes quality and safety on every repair.
You’ll also have clear communication from start to finish. We work directly with your insurance company, keep you updated throughout the process, and make sure there are no surprises. Our goal is a smooth experience and a repair you can trust.

What if the insurance estimate is lower than yours?
4
That’s common. Insurance estimates are often written based on visible damage only. If additional damage is found during disassembly, we submit a supplement to the insurance company to ensure all necessary repairs are covered and completed properly.
You have the right to choose the repair shop you trust — you are not required to use the insurance company’s preferred shop.
You also have the right to a proper repair. That means your vehicle should be repaired using the correct procedures and parts to restore it safely, not just the cheapest option.
You’re entitled to a clear explanation of your coverage, including your deductible and what is or isn’t included in your policy. If additional damage is found during repairs, the insurance company is responsible for reviewing and approving those supplements.
At Emich Collision Center, we help protect your rights by working directly with your insurance company, ensuring repairs are done correctly, and keeping the process clear and straightforward from start to finish.

My car isn’t drivable — can I get it towed to your auto body shop in Denver?
6
Yes. If your vehicle isn’t drivable, you can have it towed directly to Emich Collision Center. Just let the tow company know where to bring it, or give us a call 720-409-5305 and we can help coordinate the tow for you.
We’ll receive the vehicle, document the damage, and get the repair process started right away — including working with your insurance company to keep everything moving smoothly.
